EmployAbility Roscommon, trading as Co. Roscommon Supported Employment
Service CLG, is a Not- For- Profit Company. It is funded by the
Department of Employment Affairs and Social Protection to provide a
supported employment service, which supports job seekers with
disabilities to find employment and assists employers to implement
workplace inclusion practices and policies. The company works
collaboratively with disability services, voluntary services, state
agencies, and private and public sector employers.
The Coordinator has responsibility for overall management of the
project. This includes Human Resources, and Financial management, and
supervision of a team of 8 staff. The Coordinator reports to a Board
of Directors and to local Department of Employment Affairs and Social
Protection officers.
The role requires someone with experience of working within the field
of social inclusion and who has general management skills including
HR, Finance, Health & Safety, Promotion and Marketing, Compliance, and
GDPR. The role requires someone with excellent IT skills in Microsoft

The Coordinator role is a Fixed Term contract based on a **Apply on
the website**-hour working week and is subject to annual funding.
Salary is in line with DEASP scale.
KEY DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
* Plan, organise, deliver, and review services to clients of
Employability Roscommon.
* Liaise with relevant agencies (Statutory and Voluntary) and
employers, to ensure successful outcomes for clients.
* Manage client referrals for the service.
* Publicise the work of EmployAbility Roscommon to encourage
participation of clients and employers.
* Develop links between relevant agencies and employer bodies.
* Maintain all records including staff records, in a manner, which
is consistent with best practice.
* Identify areas for further expansion of the service.
* Strategically plan the development of the service to its full
potential
* Be aware of developments in the employment sector with particular
emphasis on employment for people with disabilities at Government,
national and regional level.
* Prepare monthly financial and operational reports for funders.
* Compile and submit annual Business Plan to funders
* Prepare annual accounts for Company Registration Office audit with
company Auditors.
* Work with Company Secretary to update Companies Registration
Office of any Company changes.
* Ensure Company tax affairs are in order.
* Ensure compliance with Health & Safety policy and procedures.
* Provide direction, support, performance monitoring, professional
supervision, and leadership to staff.
* Identify staff training and development needs.
* Assist with monitoring and evaluation of the project.
* Keep Company Chairperson updated regularly regarding developments.
* Present reports to Company Board Meetings
* Administration of all software for set up of new users and
maintenance of accounts.
* Carry out any other function relevant to the position of
co-ordinator as indicated from time to time.
* A high level of professionalism is required for this post, and
confidentiality is of utmost importance.
ESSENTIAL REQUIREMENTS:
* Fully licensed with access to reliable transport
* Flexibility in relation to hours and travel locations within
County Roscommon and nationally.
* Level 7 Degree in Business, Public Policy, or equivalent in a
related discipline.
* Good knowledge of policy and legislation in relation to Disability
and Employment.
* Some experience in a similar role.
* Excellent conflict resolution skills
* Good understanding of financial budgets and reporting mechanisms.
* A professional attitude and self-motivated approach.
* Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
* Confident, self-motivated, innovative, and able to work under
pressure.
* Good team leadership skills with the ability to develop and
motivate all members of the team.
* Report writing and analytical writing skills.
DESIRABLE:
* Marketing and PR employment experience
* Knowledge and understanding of issues of unemployment, inequality,
social exclusion, and their impact on individuals.
* Experience of supporting people into employment
* Law, Data Protection Legislation, Charities Act and Charities
Regulatory Authority standards
* Excellent facilitation, collaboration, communication, and
negotiation skills
* High level of professional knowledge of Corporate Governance,
Company Law, Employment Law.
